61G4-18.001: Each person who is certified or registered by the board must, as a condition of each renewal of the certificate or registration, obtain at least 14 hours of continuing education in one or more courses from a continuing education provider approved by the board.
All certified contractors whose licenses expire on August 31 (of each year) must do the time! Why not do it on the weekend and in ONE DAY!

Course A deals with Wind Mitigation and Florida Workers Compensation Laws, Workplace Safety, the various aspects dealing with Contractors and Business Practices. It also covers two (2) hours of the latest revisions of the Advanced building Code.
Course B – Includes Liability Issues for the Construction Industry

Liability Issues for the Construction Industry.
This course deals with Contracts, Arbitration, Mediation, Laws and Rules, and Liability Issues facing the Contractor and the Construction Industry as a whole.
